1892: Stampless Military cover to Paris endorsed "Corps d'Expeditionaire du Dahomey" and struck on reverse with circular Anchor illustrated cachet SERVICE DE LA MER in black. Carried at double weight and struck with "ETABLISSEMENTS DU BENIN / LIGNE L No. 1" circular datestamp (Jan 11) in blue (Salles fig. 1221). Triangular "T" marking with '2' (double) and '30' (rate) at left. Reverse with Paris arrival cds (Feb 3) and charged with Duval 1881 Postage Due 60 c. black cancelled by triangular black handstamp.
