    1867/81: Laureated 2 d. lilac-mauve and 6 d. blue, used on 1871 printed "Via Marseilles" pink envelope from Daylesford (May 20) to Paris, tied in black, short paid 3d. Struck with framed "INSUFFICIENTLY / PREPAID" in red and fine framed "GB / 1F 62 4/10 c." accountancy marking in red. Carried on the "Avoca" to Galle, the "Hindostan" to Alexandria and from there on the "Nyanza" to Brindisi. Mailed by the newly opened Brindisi route with circular entry mark in red (July 9). Charged with handstruck '15' décimes due for single rate: tariff of 1 July 1871. A most attractive cover, unrecorded in the Palmer Census.rn
