    1881 (Jan 4): Lettersheet from Montorio to Penne, bearing 1866 Torino printing 10 c. yellow-ochre, tied by '2078' numeral obliterator in black, matching "MONTORIO AL VOMANO" cds in black alongside. Reverse with TERAMO transit cds of the same day. The ten centesimi stamp used extremely late after it became invalid on September 1st, 1877. Only three cover with usages after that date are known which had not been taxed. Cert. E. Diena (1986).rnProvenance: Collection De La Rue.
