    1863 (March 27): Entire letter from Palermo to Livorno, bearing 1863 (Feb 10) 15 c. light blue type I, tied upon arrival by clear two-line "VIA / DI MARE" cds in exceptional black, another information strike alongside. Misdirected, therefore "GENOVA / UFFIZIO DES PORTO" (March 29) cds and LIVORNO arrival (March 31) cds on the reverse. Appealing cover, despatched directly at the vessel.
