    1860: 20 c. dark blue, two fine and fresh adhesives with good to large margins, well embossed, tied by straight-line MATELICA handstamp introduced by the postal administration of the Papal States (Sassone MC = R1), "CAMERINO 12 NOV" (1860) cds alongside, on cover directed to Montesanto. Reverse with "15 NOVEMBRE" arrival datestamp. A rare cancellation on a double rate usage in the Marche region, briefly after the inclusion into the Kingdom of Sardinia. Signed Em. & A. Diena, R.
