    1859 (Sept): 8 baj. rose, a fine single adhesive with fresh colour and good to large margins all round, tied by mute grill obliterator to part paid double rate entire letter directed to Rovigo. "FERRARA 15 DEC. 59" despatch cds alongside, reverse with arrival cds of the next day. An attractive and most interesting entire with the 8 baj. franking paying twice 20 centesimi to the border to Venetia in the November 1859 rate while the addressee had to pay '10' soldi for a double rate letter in the first Austrian rayon.
