    1852 (Jan): 5 baj. 'bianco rosaceo', a fine and fresh single adhesive, tied by straight line RIMINI handstamp (Sassone = 4 punti) to entire letter directed to Pisa. Reverse with "PISA STRADA FERRATA 3. LUG. 1852" railway cds. Prior to the adherenve of the Papal States to the LEGA in October 1852, letters to other Italian states were prepaid to the border with 5 baj, while the receiver had to pay for the residual journey, in this case '6' crazie for a letter in the second rayon of the LEGA.
