    Falso dell'epoca 1859/61: 2 gr. carmine, 1st state of the first type, a fresh and fine adhesive, large to huge margined, tied by boxed ANNULLATO of Napoli, on entire letter to Morigerati. Reverse with Napoli despatch (July 17, 1860) cds in red and Sala transit (July 18) cds in black. An appealing usage of this rare adhesive made to defraud the postal system. Cert. E.
