    1859: 10 gr. carmine-rose, plate II in combination with 2 gr. 'carminio cupo', plate III, two fresh and fine adhesives, large to huge margined, cancelled by perfect ANNULLATO 'a svolazzo' type 2 handstamp with "BARLETTA 16 GEN. 1861" cds and ASSICURATA handstamp, both in red alongside, on registered cover to Reggio di Calabria. Reverse with Napoli transit (Jan 19, 1861) datestamp in red. File folds well away from adhesives and postmarks, nevertheless a most appealing cover paying the rate for three sheets, doubled for registration. Signed Em. Diena, R. Mondolfo & Avanzo; cert.
