    1858: 2 gr. 'carminio cupo', plate III, seven single adhesives with large to huge margins in a deep and intense shade, cancelled by ANNULLATO 'a svolazzo' type 1 with clear "POPOLI 29 MAG 1861" cds and ASSICURATA handstamp, both in black alongside, on registered cover directed to Agnone. Heavy letter with a weight of 3½ sheets resulting in postage of 7 grana, doubled by registration, some wear and tear as to be expected, nevertheless an impressive and appealing franking.
