    French Shipmail 1880 (Jan 20): Double rate Cover from Pairis to Vera-Cruz, bearing a horizontal pair of Sage 35 c. violet black on yellow, a fresh multiple, tied by "PARIS GARE DU SUD-OUEST 20 JANV 80" despatch cds, reverse with Shipmail's "LIGNE B PAQ. FR. N° 1 21 JANV 80". Horizontal file fold well away from the adhesives, just mentioned for accuracy, some perforation irregularities, still an appealing double rate franking with twice the 25 centimes rate abroad and twice the 'Voie de Mer' surtaxe of 10 centimes.
