    1873/74: Registered court wrapper from Bergerac to Beaumont, bearing a mixed type strip of Cérès 1873 25 c. blue type II, one example together with two examples of 1874 25 c. blue type III at right, a fine and fresh multiple, tied by light Gros Chiffres '447' numeral lozenge and framed R in red. Despatch cds (Nov 21, 74) alongside. The addressee could not be found in Beaumont-du-Périgord, a "RETOUR A L'ENVOYEUR / 385" handstamp was struck on obverse, the reverse shows information strikes of Beaumont (Nov. 22) and Bergerac from the same day upon return. A most attractive wrapper with the very rare mixed type multiple, signed Calves; cert. Brun (2001) Maury 60/IIId = € 4'500+.
