    French Shipmail 1871: Entire letter from Bordeaux to Buenos Ayres, endorsed "vapeur 'Gambie' ", bearing Cérès 25 c. blue type I, a fresh and fine strip of four from positions 143-146 of plate A2, all with prominent retouches, tied by fair Gros Chiffres '532' numeral lozenge, "BORDEAUX 10 OCT 72" despatch cds and framed "P.P." in red alongside. An appaeling entire with this gathering of retouches, correctly franked in the July 1871 rate.
