    1872: Triple rate Registered cover from Meaux to Paris, bearing Cérès 1872 5 c. green yellow on bluish, 15 c. bistre and 25 c. blue type I in a strip of four, fine and fresh adhesives, tied by clear Petits Chiffres des Gros Chiffres '2298' numeral lozenge. Despatch cds (Aug 21, 73) and framed R handstamp in red alongside. Reverse with two ambulant cds's. A very attractive mass franking, correctly franked with 70 c. postage and 50 c. registration fee.
