    1872: Entire letter from Pontarlier to Couvet, bearing a horizontal strip of four of Cérès 5 c. yellow-green on bluish, tied by Gros Chiffres '2964' numeral lozenge, despatch cds (Sept 25, 74) as well as framed PD in red alongside. Reverse with COUVET arrival cds's from the following day. Horizontal file fold nevertheless an attractive item showing 20 c. Rayon limitrophe rate between France and Switzerland.
