    1871: Double rate Envelope from Pau to Vienna, bearing Bordeaux 20 c. blue type III report 2 in a horizontal strip of three, a fresh and fine multiple with vivid colour and good to enormous margins incl. parts of a neighbouring stamp, tied by bold Gros Chiffres '2795' numeral lozenge, matching despatch cds (April 2, 71) and framed PD in red alongside. Reverse with two ambulant and WIEN arrival cds (April 8). Minor cover edge wear, nevertheless an attractive usage paying twice the 30 centimes rate to Austria, signed Calves & von der Weid.
