    1870: Entire letter from Le Havre to Paris, bearing Napoléon laureated 1 c. bronze and 2 c. red brown in a horizontal pair in mixed franking with Siège 20 c. blue, fresh and fine adhesives, tied by fair Gros Chiffres '1769' numeral lozenge, matching despatch cds (Sept 11, 71) alongside. Reverse with arrival cds of the next day. A very attractive September cover combination.
