    1853: Partially prepaid Cover from Le Havre to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, endorsed "Per Paulo", bearing Napoléon imperf. 10 c. bistre type I, a fine and fresh horizontal strip of three with good to enormous margins with parts of two neighbouring stamps, each stamp tied by clear Petits Chiffres '1495' numeral lozenge. "BUREAU-MARITIME HAVRE 16 NOV. 58" despatch cds and framed "P.P.", both in red alongside. Two horizontal file folds, one below the strip, nevertheless a fine cover, the franking paying correctly the rate for prepaid letters despatched in a French port and send with a commercial vessel to an overseas port, in force between August 1849 and December 1865.
