    1849: Cérès 1 fr. vermilion 'vermillon rouge clair', a splendid example of this rare stamp, with vibrant colour and good to large margins all round, tied by crisp grill obliterator to triple rate cover, directed to Leyzoux, clear despatch "VERTAIZON (63) 22 DEC. 49" cds alongside, reverse with type 14 arrival cds. An impressive item with this much sought after adhesive.
