1873: Cover at double rate to Le Havre, France endorsed 'pr. Californian', struck with PORT-AU-PRINCE British P.O. cds (Dec 27), mailed via England with 'Liverpool / Br. Packet' cds on reverse (17 Jan 1874), unusually with two strikes of "GB / 1F 60c." Accountancy marking alongside "1/-" charge mark in black.
