    1879: Quetzal 1 r. black & green, a diagonally bisected example used as a ½ r., tied to large part 1880 cover front from Chiquimula to Guatemala City via Mazatenango tied by "19" numeral handstamp in red with corresponding "Correos / Chiquimula" datestamp alongside (Dec 3) in same colour. This cover front is mentioned in 'Guatemala 1' by Roland Goodman on page 93.
