    1890/91: Southern Cross 200 r. violet, a diagonally bisected example used on 1893 cover, paying the 100 reis rate to Rio de Janeiro, neatly tied by CANTAGALLO datestamp (March 21) in black. Reverse with Rio arrival cds (Oct 9). Exceptional and very scarce Scott = $ 875.
