    1850 (Nov 11): Entire letter from Madrid to Sucre endorsed 'Inglish Packet' at left, carried privately to Bordeaux (Dec 12) and struck with despatch cds in red and framed PD and the letter continued. Mailed via London with red 'Paid' cds (Dec 16), thence Chagres, Panama and Callao to Cobija where struck with straight line LAMAR handstamp in red. '4½' (reales) due on delivery in manuscript. Rare and most unusual destination at this date.
