    1939 (Dec. 27): Censored airmail envelope endorsed 'par avion / Pan América' sent from Alexandria to La Guaira in Venezuela, franked in total with 190 Mills, with arrival mark on reverse (1940, Jan. 12). Cover and stamp little soiled, but a scarce commercial usage from Egypt to Southamerica, presumably carried by Ala Littoria and LATI, the last direct air connection to Southamerica, before Italy enters the war in June 1940.
