    1908/10: Carol I, Imperforate Proof for 10 b. value in black on medium greyish wove paper, a block of eight (4 x 2) numbered '661' at top, with last two subjects crossed through in manuscript ink (top example with incomplete shading of leaves, lower example with Duty plate blank), further manuscript endorsements in red ink. Extremely scarce.rnrnNote: There is some conjecture as to whether this was printed by the Popescu Govt. Printing Works in Bucharest ot by the firm of Thomas MacDonald, Monument Buildings, London EC4.
