    1824: Entire letter from Bucharest to Hermannstadt (Sibiu), struck on despatch with superb strike (rare this fine) of oval framed "BUKUREST / IN DER WALLACHEY" in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 706). Thence via Rossenthurn where disinfected with circular "SANITATIS SIGILLUM" disinfection cachet in black and resealed with red wax, with 2 kr. charge in red crayon.
