    Ville D'Orléans (Ballon Monté #33) 1870: 'Mandal Mail'. Entire letter from beseiged Paris to Canton de Nauchâtel, Switzerland the (30 centimes) adhesive floated off due to immersion in sea watedr, struck with 'Paris / (60)' cds of despatch (Nov 23, levée 2) with framed 'P.D.' in red at left. No further markings but with blurred manuscript red chalk notation (as commonly used by the Swiss P.O.) on reverse. Scarce.
