    Ville D'Orléans (Ballon Monté #33) 1870: 'Mandal Mail'. Complete Gazette des Absents No. 10 from beseiged Paris to a Madame Belloc in the Isle of Wight, the (30 centime) adhesive floated off due to immersion in sea water, with partial 'Paris' despatch cds (Nov 24 / levée 5) and framed 'PD' in red at right. 'London / Paid' cds in red on obverse (Dec 2). Readdressed back from Ryde to London using stamp selvedge (with 'Sixty' imprint). Scarce and very fine Maury = € 1'750.
