    Ville D'Orléans (Ballon Monté #33) 1870: 'Mandal Mail'. Printed formula entire letter (with fascinating readable contents of captured Ballons) from beseiged Paris to London, the (30 centime) adhesive floated off due to immersion in sea water, with 'Paris / (60)' despatch cds (Nov 23 / levée 4) and framed 'PD'. 'London / Paid' cds in red (Dec 2) and delivery cds on reverse of the same day. A fine and scarce entire.
