    1898: Waterlow Die Proof for the 3 s. value in brown (issued in deep violet), Imperforate on toned wove paper, inset into sunken display card (68 x 97 mm.). Pencil manuscript at top "Exact colour of the £2 value" and ink "Not Approved" at base and dated "29/4/02" below.
