    Pacific War 1877: 10 c. blue and 20 c. green rouletted, single examples on registered 1883 cover to Montevideo, Uruguay endorsed "Certificada, Via Chile i Argentina" (and thus presumably over the Cordillera) tied by "LIMA / PRINCIPAL" cds (Sept 11) with registration label at left. Montevideo arrival cds on obverse with Uruguayan registration cachet in black. A very scarce and attractive cover. Cert.
