    Regno, combination usage of Sardinian and Italian adhesives 1863 (Aug 27): Envelope from Lecce to Venezia, bearing Sardinia IV. emission 40 c. carmine 'carminio lilliaceo' in mixed franking with Italy Regno 1863 15 c. blue type II, two fine and fresh adhesives, tied by light LECCE cds and "P.D.", both in black. Another Austrian boxed PD alongside, reverse with Napoli transit and arrival cds (Sept 3). Refolded and wax seal cut out, an interesting franking to pay the 55 centesimi rate for a letter from the second Italian to the second Austrian rayon. Signed A. Diena, Russo & Colla, cert. E.
