    Ballon monté 1870 (Dec 1): Entire letter with the rare newspaper 'Le Soir' carried on board of balloon no. 38 'Franklin' to Riscle, franked with Siège 20 c. blue, tied by crisp "PARIS (SC)" despatch cds in red, reverse with arrival cds (Dec 7). A very rare newspaper letter Maury = € 3'550 + 1'100 / Lhéritier = € 7'600 + 500.
