    1849: Triple rate Envelope from Toulouse to Pamiers bearing a horizontal strip of five Cérès 20 c. black on white paper, a fresh multiple with good to large margins, tied by five fair grill strikes, "TOULOUSE (30) 8 JANV. 50" despatch cds alongside. Reverse with arrival cds of the same day. A light horizontal filing fold does not distract from the beauty of this unusual franking to pay correctly the triple rate for a cover between 15 and 100 gram. Certs. A.
