    1852 (Oct 30): Entire letter from Valparaiso to San Francisco endorsed "via Panama", struck with fair "VAPOR QUITO / P" in black. The Steamer arrived in Callao on Nov 8th, arriving in Panama on Nov 19. From Panama carried by the "Northerner" (helpfully docketed internally) to San Francisco (Dec 6) where struck with "25" (cents) due handstamp in black. A scarce entire.
