    RMSP / PSNC 1864: Cover from Barcelona to Arequipa, Peru at double rate endorsed "via de Inglaterra" franked by 1862 2 r. green, two horizontal pairs, clear to fine margins all round, tied by circular "2" numeral obliterator with Barcelona despatch cds at right (Jan 27). 'London / Paid' transit in red (Jan 29) and thence carried by the RMSP Steamer "La Plata" from Southampton to St. Thomas, "Tyne" to Colon with double arc PANAMA cds (Feb 24) on obverse; and PSNC Steamer to Islay with dotted arrival on reverse. Illustrated in Edition D'Or 59 on page 229. File folds away from the adhesives, a scarce destination at this date.
