    PSNC & RMSP 1863: Cover from Lima to Paris endorsed "p. Vapor", franked at triple rate with Lecoq 1862 1 d. pink, three examples, all tied by "Lima" datestamps (Nov 20) in blue. Carried on PSNC Steamer to Panama, thence via RMSP "Tyne" to St. Thomas and per the "Shannon" to Southampton. London cds in red on reverse (Dec 21) and struck with "GB / 2F 87½c." accountancy marking and thence via Calais to Paris. Charged an enormous "7 fr. 20 c." due on arrival (a six times rate). Some wrinkles due to weight of contents and aging but a very scarce cover. Illustrated in Edition D'Or 59 on page 216.
