PSNC & RMSP 1858: Cover from Islay to France franked by 1858 1 d. blue in a horizontal pair with large margins all round but one crossed by file fold, cancelled by "YSLAI" dotted handstamp in brown. Carried via Callao British P.O. to Panama, thence on RMSP "Medway" to St. Thomas and per "Parana" to Southampton. London cds in red on reverse (Oct 2) and struck with "GB / 2F 87½c." accountancy marking and thence via Calais to Paris where charged '12' décimes due.
