    PSNC 1869: Entire letter from Guayaquil to Lima at single rate, franked by 1866 4 r. red, diagonally bisected (top left half), tied by bold strike of "GUAYAQUIL / FRANCA" circular datestamp (Sept 26) in blue. Carried on PSNC Steamer "Paita" to Callao with reverse showing Lima arrival cds (Oct 1) in black. Illustrated in Edition D'Or 59 on page 210. A magnificent and rare entire.
