    PSNC & PMSC 1865 (Aug 16): Cover and complete contents from Valparaiso to San Francisco, rated "1/-" in manuscript on despatch, with weak "Valparaiso" British P.O. cds in black on reverse (Aug 17), carried by PSNC Steamer via British P.O. in "PANAMA" (Sept 4) and thence by Pacific Mail Steamship Co. with oval framed "STEAM / PANAMA" in black and San Francisco arrival (Sept 25) with due '10' handstamp below. Slight 5mm. trim to envelope at right but a scarce and attractive usage.
