RMSP 1875: "Trinidad Prices Current" used to Portland, Maine, USA endorsed "p. Brazilian Mail via St. Thomas", franked by 1863/76 (1 d.) rose, wmk. Crown CC, tied by TRINIDAD double arc cds (Sept 8) in black with "TRINIDAD / PAID" in red below. Carried on the Steamer "Eider" to St. Thomas where transhipped to the Brazil-New York Navigation Line; struck with "Due 2" on arrival in black. Illustrated in Edition D'Or 59 on page 172.
