RMSP 1842 (March 2): Entire letter from La Guayra to London, struck with late use of oval framed "REPUBLICA DE COLOMBIA / Guayra / Franca" handstamp in red (without Colombia erased). Reverse with British P.O. "LA-GUAYRA" double arc cds in red (March 28). Carried by "HMS Flamer" to St. Thomas, "RMSP "Medway" to Nassau, Bahamas and RMSP "Clyde" on her Maiden voyage to England where charged "2/3d." to pay upon receipt.
