    RMSP 1861: Cover from Genova to Buenos Ayres, Argentina at double rate endorsed "via D'Inghilterra" franked by Sardinia 1855/63 40 c. carmine and 80 c. yellow-orange with touched to large margins all tied by "Genova" datestamps (Jan 4) in black. 'Sardaigne /Culoz' transit in red (Jan 6) and thence via London. Carried on RMSP Steamer "Magdalena" to Rio and thence on the "Mersey" to Montevideo. Illustrated in Edition D'Or 59 on page 127. File fold affects two stamps with surface rub on 40 c., a scarce franking to an unusual destination.
