    John Ryde Line 1874 (April 20): Entire letter from Liege to Buenos Ayres endorsed "voie d'Anvers", franked by 1869 20 c. dull ultramarine and contemporarily defectcive 30 c. orange-brown tied by "Liege" cds's (April 29) with "P.P." below. Reverse with "CONF.N ARG.N / PAQ. BELGE" datestamp in black (May 1) and carried on the Ryde Line Steamer "Ariadne". Internal docketing of receipt (June 10). Illustrated in Edition D'Or 59 on page 118. Sold together with a printed 1871 Bill of Lading for the Ryde Line Steamer 'Bonita' carrying 6 packages of silver valued at £2'400. Scarce.
