Messageries Impériales 1867: Entire letter from Buenos Aires to Dijon, France franked by 1864-67 Rivadavia 15 c. blue, perf. 11½, tied by French Anchor lozenge of dots in black - paying both internal fee (5 c.) and the River Plate crossing of 10 centavos to catch the "Aunis" at Montevideo. Circular "BUENOS AYRES / PAQ. FR. K. No. 1" datestamp (Aug 12) at right (Salles fig. 1037) and carried on Steamer "Aunis" to Rio, where transhipped to the "Guienne" for the journey to Bordeaux (Sept 19). Charged '10' décimes due to pay upon receipt. Illustrated in Edition D'Or 59 on page 105. An extremely rare entire. Certs.
