    RMSP 1861 (Dec 27): Entire letter from Buenos Aires to Genova at double rate franked by Buenos Aires 1859 Cabecitas 4 r. green on bluish and 1 p. milky blue slightly worn impression, each with large margins all round tied by oval of dots in black, reverse with "Correos de Buenos Aires" despatch cds (Dec 28) in black. Carried on RMSP Steamer "Mersey" to Rio and thence by "Tyne" to Liverpool. Struck in London (Feb 3, 1862) with "GB / 1F 60c." accountancy marking in black, thence via Calais, Paris to Genova (Feb 6) with handstruck '20' decimi in black.
