    RMSP 1851 (April 14): Cover from Bahia to Nantes, France endorsed "Steamer Medway", struck with earliest recorded usage of "BAHIA" double arc cds of the British Post Office in blue. London transit cds on reverse and framed "Colonies / &c. Art 13" applied there in red, thence via Calais (May 16) to Nantes where charged '30' décimes due in black. Illustrated in Edition D'Or XXXVII on page 67.
