    1869 (March 8): 6 d. dull violet, Plate 8, without hyphen, wmk. Spray, lettered QA, a used example, variety "Imperforate", large margins all round, neatly cancelled by complete strike of "BO1" obliterator of Alexandria, Egypt in black (or probably a Trial cancellation applied at Somerset House).
