    1881: 1 d. lilac pair and 1887 ½ d. vermilion used on 1892 mourning envelope to Halifax, Nova Scotia, the envelope endorsed "Oct 24th at Sea, off Crete, P&O "Hima Pasha", tied in transit with Egyptian "PORT SAID" datestamps (Oct 27) and placed on board French Steamer 'Océanien' with fine strike of circular "LIGNE T / PAQ. FR. No. 4" datestamp (Salles fig. 2141) struck in red. Reverse with Halifax arrival cds (Nov 14). Slight faults at top but an unusual cover.
