    1893 (June 10): 'Halfpenny' Provisional surcharged at Grand Turk, "½ d." on 4 d. grey, a used irregular block of five from Setting 4, bars 11 mm. apart, on registered 1894 cover to Paget West, Bermuda with 1889/93 1 d. lake pair, all cancelled "TI" obliterators in black with "Registered / Turks Island" despatch at left (Oct 29). Vertical file fold and back flap missing with small divot at top of envelope but a very rare franking.rnProvenance: Collection Morris Ludington, Spink, London, 10 Nov 1999, lot 1732; Collection J.
